Since I started my metalsmith class I've become obsessed with working with copper. In a metalsmith class, copper is used because it's a relatively inexpensive choice of metal when you're learning new skills. But I have found that I love the look of copper jewelry, especially when it's combined with sterling silver and brass. The three metals complement eachother. I also find that copper is very flattering to most skintones and looks great with a tan (don't forget the UV).
